In this guide, let's take a look at all currencies in Fallout 76.

In Fallout 76, a currency is any item that is exchanged in quantity for a good or service. What qualifies as an exchange ranges from depositing miscellaneous items into a terminal interface to making account-wide microtransactions in the Atomic Shop. In this guide, let's take a look at all currencies in Fallout 76.

AmmoPoints

AmmoPoints are used to exchange ammunition using an Ammo Converter in Fallout 76. Depositing bulk quantities of unwanted ammunition will add points to the account, which may then be spent to obtain a more desired ammunition type. The AmmoPoints are non-tradable. The current AmmoPoint cap is 100,000, meaning players cannot stack up points beyond that. If the limit is reached, they must unload some AmmoPoints at a Converter, or else the machine won't work.

Atoms

In Fallout 76, the Atom is a unique currency that has two specific purposes: Purchasing Atomic Shop items and skipping the S.C.O.R.E rank-up process. This makes it a highly useful resource for many players. Atoms may be obtained by completing challenges, progressing through the Scoreboard or with real money.

Caps

Fallout 76 Caps are your generic currency, buying and selling the majority of items uses caps, and fast travel costs caps based on distance. Caps may be obtained through many methods, including, but not limited to, caps stashes, quest rewards, and drinking a Nuka-Cola. Also, you can buy Fallout 76 Caps from a trusted third party, such as U4gm, which is cheap and safe.

Gold bullion

Gold bullion is a special currency used to buy exotic items and craft plans. There are two ways that players can get their hands on Gold Bullion in Fallout 76: missions and trading. Public Event missions are a great way to gather up Treasury Notes. Treasury Notes are another new type of currency that can be traded in at one of the Gold Bullion machines in Crater or Foundation to get Gold Bullion.

Legendary Scrips

As a Legendary item, Scrip is a chip used to fuse Legendary Effects into weapons and armors or re-roll their current Effects. There are four main ways to farm Scrip: Complete Daily or Ally Quests, take on Expedition tasks, join the Daily Ops, or exchange Legendary valuables with Scrip.

Overseer Tickets

Overseer tickets are ticket stubs used to unlock perks obtained upon receiving a duplicate perk from a perk card pack. Each unlockable perk has its own price, increasing in value based on the number of SPECIAL points required to equip it. The current number of perk coins assigned to the character can be viewed in the perk menu or within the Collections tab of the Pip-Boy's STATS section.

Perk Coins

Perk Coins were a currency introduced in Fallout 76 Update 22, which you can use to increase the power of your Legendary Perk Cards by upgrading them. They are acquired by scrapping unwanted perk cards. Each Perk Card you scrap will grant you 2 Perk Coins per rank. For example, when you scrap a rank 1 Perk Card, you'll receive 2 Perk Coins, and scrapping a rank 3 Perk Card will award 6 Perk Coins.

Pioneer Scout Badges

Pioneer Scout badges are used to mark the progression of the various skills essential for survival. Tadpole badges are used to redeem prizes from the Tadpole vending machine located at Camp Adams and Pioneer Scout camp. They are acquired by completing Tadpole World Challenges. Possum badges are used to redeem prizes from the Possum vending machine located at Camp Adams and Pioneer Scout camp. They are acquired by completing Possum World Challenges or by completing Campfire Tales, Operation Tidy, or Stings and Things.
